Natural Health Specialist
Denim L. Slade, Ph.D.
Dr. Slade is one of the few Ph.D.-level coaches here in Southern Utah. His added training provides him with depth and insight into theory and practice that proves helpful in bringing about change. He practiced therapy for 22.5 years before moving into coaching. He has specific training and expertise in healthy Martial Relationships (communication, conflict resolution, trust, healthy sexuality), Adolescent Development (improving family, friends, school, etc.), Parenting, Depression, Anxiety, and Trauma. While as a coach he no longer treats specific psychological disorders with traditional therapy, he now focuses on coaching individuals to live their best lives despite them. He is pleased to offer TMS as a powerful and unique approach to treat brain disorders like depression and anxiety.

Janis Hatch, TMS Technician
Hi, my name is Janis. I was born in Houston, Texas and then moved back to Mexico as a child where I lived until I was 21 years old. I graduated from Universidad Regiomontana with a bachelor’s in Psychology. Prior to working with TMS success I worked at a Domestic Violence center, a teenage rehabilitation center, and as an ABA therapist with children on the spectrum. In my free time I enjoy cooking, being outdoors, singing, and acting.
Tina Hartman, Office Manager/TMS Coordinator
Tina is an east coast native and fan, receiving her degree from the University of Baltimore. However, she is loving her new home here in St. George and is taking every opportunity to explore the breath taking surroundings. Having navigated the often difficult paths to healing and wellness for herself and family, Tina has a deep passion for people and mental health. Despite her other responsibilities in the practice, her favorite role is as a certified technician. "The opportunity to experience the amazing changes, with each patient, from the beginning to the end of treatment is especially joyful and rewarding!"
Kara Bown, Billing and Insurance Rep
Kara is a native of Southern Utah, and with more than 10 years health care experience, she is uniquely aware of the medical needs in our community. Kara has also served our community as a paramedic but is currently pursuing her BS degree in Biochem with plans to attend PA school in the near future. Kara is also a wife and mother and has very little free time, but when she does, she enjoys camping and back country backpacking.

What Makes TMS Success So Successful?
How TMS Works
Traditional antidepressant medications work by artificially causing the brain to transmit the chemicals your brain needs to be happy, which is why you have withdrawals and, in most cases, go backwards when you stop taking the prescribed medication.
TMS works by training the brain to naturally reopen the pathways that release serotonin and continue to do so long after treatment has ended.
Treatment is only 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week for 6 weeks. It is completely noninvasive, and no medication is required. TMS is covered by most insurances.
Sustainable, natural happiness could be just a phone call away.
